The SPD Battery Back-Up system has been specially converted to run sump pumps

The unit has in integral audible alarm and is designed to be located outside the sump pump in a dry location.

In the event of a power failure the battery back-up unit will run the pump at normal capacity with no loss of performance.

The unit has been tested independently by us at SPD and will run continuous for 20 minutes. This equates to approx 4 hours running with the cycles of the pump (eg pump runs for 55 seconds 4 times per hour) or approx 130ltr per minute
